The PTFE hose smooth is made of Virgin PTFE with a stainless steel 304 braid. PTFE hoses have such a universal field of application that they have become an indispensable position among hose applications. PTFE is characterized above all by excellent chemical and thermal properties. In general, PTFE hoses can be used at temperatures from -70 ºC to +260 ºC. PTFE is resistant to almost all chemicals and solvents with the exception of liquid alkali metals (e.g. liquid sodium). PTFE is also not resistant to chlorine fluorides at elevated temperatures.
Inner wall: Continuous extruded PTFE.
Outer wall: Single braided stainless steel 304 braid, stainless steel 316 also possible.
Application: For high pressure with high temperature fluctuations. For hot water, steam, food industry, FDA approved oils and fuels, various chemicals, etc.
Temperature: -70°C to 260°C
