The Cell Rubber 410 is often used for sealing against water and other liquids. Because the material is so flexible, it can also be used as a draught excluder. This is because the gray EPDM cellular rubber also seals well against air and dust. Thanks to these properties, the cellular rubber can also be used to build something airtight. The gray color ensures that the EPDM cellular rubber does not stand out, which is why it is used as an inconspicuous draught excluder. It is also used as a seal in aluminum and steel windows, in partition walls and in the electrical industry. Finally, it can be used as a shock-absorbing material.
The gray EPDM cellular rubber has a closed cell structure and is flexible. The raw material EPDM ensures that the material has good weather-resistant properties. In addition, it is very water-resistant, which makes the material extremely suitable for sealing against water and other liquids. The cellular rubber is very resistant to aging, does not stain and has a long lifespan. This type of EPDM cellular rubber is mainly used for indoor applications, but can also be used outdoors for less challenging applications. We do not recommend using this cellular rubber in direct sunlight.
