Hose Construction
|
|
The hoses
are constructed from polypropylene, polyamide or polyester films
and fabrics, depenting on the application and a outer cover of
pvc coated polyester fabrics which is abrasion, weather and ozon
resistant. For more demanding applications layers and/or tubes
of PTFE and FEP* are used in the construction of the hoses.

Internal and External Wires
|
|
· A
choice can be made between galcanized steel, polypropylene
coated steel and stainless steel 316 internal wire, depending on
the application.
· Standard
Flextraco hoses have a galvanized external wire but all hoses
can me manufactured with a stainless steel external wire as well.

Electrical Continuity
|
|
A dual
connection between the internal and external wires and en
fittings guarantees electrical continuity
|
|
Safety
|
|
· All
Flextraco hose assemblies are pressure tested at 1,5 times their
rated working pressure before shipment.
· Test
certificates are provided with all Heavy duty Marine hose as a
standard.
· All
Flextraco hoses are color coded for easy indentification.

|
Temperatures |
|
· Flextraco
composite hoses are suitable for use in operating tempertures
from
· –30°C/-22°F
to +100°C/+212°F, dependent on the conveyent. |

Vital Link

The point of
transfer is the most vulnerable link in the chain of production,
distribution and use of bulk hydrocarbons, chemicals and liquefied
gases. The flexible link from one bulk container to another must be
